A few years go when we were looking for a dog and a cat to join our family, I found this sweet face on a shelter website. His name was Sidney, and by the time we arrived at the shelter he had already been adopted. I saved his picture on the computer anyway, since his adorable mop head never fails to make me smile. :-)))) I hope he found a good home and lots and lots of love.
There are so many older animals available for adoption at shelters all over the country. I hope, if you are looking for a pet, you will consider adopting one of these wonderful older animals. We are so happy we found our cat, Skitzi, and our dog, Beau . It took them a full two years to really act like they truly have a "forever" home with us. Loving them has so enriched our lives, and it quite possibly saved theirs.
